SEOUL, June 21 (Korea Bizwire) —The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) announced the 2023 UWC (Unmanned System World Congress) at COEX in Seoul from June 21-23. The expo will showcase land, sea, and air unmanned aerial vehicles, including AI-based combat systems.
The Army will unveil a formidable array of AI-infused manned and unmanned combat systems, while the Navy will captivate the audience with the maritime marvel, the ‘Navy Sea GHOST’—a cutting-edge manned and unmanned combat system. Not to be outdone, the Air Force will astound spectators with their visionary AI and Kill-Web-based manned and unmanned combat systems, pushing the boundaries of technological excellence.
MOTIE will also hold a conference to discuss the future of unmanned vehicle technology in industry and defense. MOTIE Deputy Minister Jang Young-jin emphasized the importance of unmanned aerial vehicle technology for national security and pledged support for R&D, training, regulations, and international expansion.
