SEOUL, Aug. 2 (Korea Bizwire) — Half of Hyundai Motor Co.’s IONIQ 5 all-electric car buyers are in their 50s or older, indicating that the customer base is similar to that of its existing vehicles with internal combustion engines.

The analysis showed that more than half of the buyers – 51.7 percent – were in their 50s or older. The share of male customers was high at 75 percent.
