DAEGU, May 30 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s largest indoor flower show, the Daegu Flower Show, is scheduled to take place from Friday to Sunday at EXCO in Daegu, around 230 kilometers south of Seoul.
This year marks its 14th anniversary.
With the resurgence of travel demand as normal life resumes, municipal governments have witnessed a surge in inquiries to promote their various local attractions.
The upcoming show will introduce a range of new attractions, such as a traditional Japanese floral arrangement exhibition, flower media art displays, a Bali-styled relaxation garden, a landscape exhibition showcasing mountains and water, a flower tea exhibition, and ‘planterior’ displays.
To support the floricultural industry, which has been impacted by increased flower production costs and prices due to the severe cold temperatures earlier this year, the organizer has expanded the on-site business pavilion.
