SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — Prime Hyundai, a Hyundai Motor Co. dealership in Brazil, recently hired an adorable full-time employee which has become a hot issue there.
The adorable full-time employee is an abandoned dog, which is now beloved by many of the shop’s customers. The abandoned dog was named Tucson Prime.
The dealership, located in the state of Espirito Santo in Brazil, recently announced that it had hired an abandoned dog as a full-time employee.
Employees created an official Instagram account for the abandoned dog and are sharing the everyday life of the dog with others. The account is now popular enough to have more than 20,000 followers.
One day, Tucson Prime visited the dealership’s parking lot to take shelter from the rain. Employees allowed the dog to rest there without kicking it out of the parking lot.
Since then, the dog has visited the shop every day, becoming popular among employees.
The dealership’s employees made a house for the dog and helped it get necessary vaccinations. The adorable dog is now beloved not only by employees but also by the dealership’s customers.
The dog regularly escorts customers or plays with their children. These scenes have gone viral on social media throughout Brazil.
In high recognition of the dog’s contribution, Prime Hyundai named the dog Tucson Prime. The dog was named after Hyundai Motor’s Tucson SUV (ix30 in Brazil). Prime Hyundai also issued an official certificate of employment to the dog.
Partly thanks to the popularity of Tucson Prime, Hyundai Motor saw its market share in Brazil rise to 9.2 percent in July. Hyundai Motor grabbed the No. 4 spot in the Brazilian car market, overtaking its rival Toyota Motor Corp.
