BORYEONGL, April 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Boryeong City in South Korea has announced that the mayor and the head of the city’s Festival and Tourism Foundation will visit Bangkok’s Songkran Water Festival for three days to promote the 26th Boryeong Mud Festival, which will be held from July 21 to August 6. The visit is part of the festival and exchange agreement with the Tourism Authority of Thailand signed in August last year and this year’s Boryeong Mud World Tour.
At the Songkran Festival site, Boryeong City will set up a promotional booth to showcase mud festival posters and photos, as well as operate mud experience spaces, including mud self-massage, color mud painting, and photo zones. Three teams of Thai influencers have been appointed as honorary ambassadors for the Mud Festival, and the visiting team has participated in the Songkran Global Parade together with participants from various countries, including China, Japan, and India.”
