JEJU, Dec. 30 (Korea Bizwire) — A small town on Jeju Island is going viral on social media after a surprise visit from Jimin, a member of K-pop superband BTS.
Nuwemaru Street, a busy shopping district in the city of Jeju, was hosting a Christmas event on Saturday to promote the local economy.
Jimin, on his personal vacation, visited the street later that day to take photos at a photo zone and posted them on his personal social media account.
His post has been liked by more than 10 million people and is continuing to go viral as fans share the post worldwide.
Member of BTS Army, the global fan base for the K-pop sensation, followed in Jimin’s footsteps by heading to Nuwemaru Street to take photos at the same photo zone.
