SEOUL, Dec. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — The port city of Busan is set to welcome 2018 Boardgame Con, a board game exhibition, on December 15 and 16.
Hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency and the Korea Association of Boardgame Industry, this year marks the second time that the festival is held outside of Seoul.
As part of the exhibition, 305 game tables and 1,830 seats will be set up to accommodate more participants than before.
A total of 17 major board game companies, including Korea Board Games, Mandu Games, and Magic Bean, will be invited to showcase their newest products.
Visitors will be able to experience more than 500 kinds of board games from South Korea as well as overseas. They will also be provided with special on-site discounts for purchasing game products.
Competitions for Rummikub, Kingdomino, Hexus, Space-X, Splendor, and others will be held at the two arenas set up in the exhibition.
