INCHEON, Mar. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — A cat stuck up in a 15-meter-tall tree near a local park in the city of Incheon for three straight days has been rescued by firefighters.
On Tuesday afternoon, 119 received a call from an Incheon resident who said that a cat was found hanging on to a tree near Songhyeon Neighborhood Park, located in Jung District.
“The cat seems to have been stuck up there for three or more days, I think the cat is too scared to climb down,” said the local resident.
The rescue team brought a ladder truck and a net to retrieve the cat from the tree.
“We have no idea how the cat got up there in the first place, but we received a lot of calls from local residents to rescue the cat,” said the fire agency. “It was a wild cat, so we set the cat free.”
