SEOUL, April 5 (Korea Bizwire) – In a special opportunity to enjoy the short-lived spring petals with a nice cup of coffee, Seoul’s Gangnam District is hosting its annual cherry blossom festival at Yangjaecheon (stream) trail starting Wednesday.
The main activities will be taking place by the Dogok-2-dong Community Service Center near the famous Yangjaecheon café street, including a flea market, food stands, a photo exhibit, and a Samul Nori performance. A total of 23 cafés are offering their drinks at up to 20 percent discounted prices during the festival, which continues until Sunday.
An on-site photography contest will take place on Friday at the stream near the center, where other musical performances, including the Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, are also scheduled from Thursday to Saturday.
