SEOUL, Jul. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — The global content festival Comic Con, which showcases a variety of pop culture content including cartoons, movies, animations and games, is coming to South Korea in August.
The organizer, Reed Exhibitions Korea, said Friday that it will host “Comic Con Seoul 2019″ at COEX from August 2 to 4.
Comic Con is an annual event held in some 30 major cities around the world, including New York and London, and was first held in Seoul in 2017.
Exhibitions and events will be put together to provide visitors with various opportunities to participate and experience.
At the event, foreign stars including Pom Klementieff, who played the role of Mantis in the film “The Guardians of Galaxy,” Billy Boyd, who played the role of Pippin in “The Lord of the Rings,” and Kevin McNally, who starred in “Pirates of the Caribbean,” will meet with local fans.
