SEOUL, Korea, Sep 27 (Korea Bizwire)–The recent commercial by Samsung Life featuring Kim Gwang-gyu as a 40-something dad with a kindergartener is gaining public attention. Kim, who has been popular on an MBC-TV weekly drama “I Live Alone,” trains himself in the commercial to be a sprinter in preparation for his 6-year-old son’s field day.
He took it so seriously that he runs night or day, rain or shine. But, alas, he falls on the ground as soon as the gun went off, disappointing his son. But it’s okay as long as the daddy loves the son.
The latest Samsung Life commercial makes the viewers feel good without ever mentioning insurance in the message. Even though the older dad is not as athletic as his counterparts in their 20s and 30s, he is still strong enough to take care of his young child.
