DAEGU, May 19 (Korea Bizwire) — The 2023 Daegu Street Motor Festival will take place in Daegu’s Jung District this weekend at the city’s “car alley,” showcasing unique street cars.
Hosted by the Car Alley Merchants Association and sponsored by the Daegu city government and Jung district office, the festival celebrates its 12th year.
It will feature supercars, tuned cars, limousine rides, and promotion events for various car parts and maintenance.
The so-called “car alley” originated in 1968 when car parts vendors started settling in the neighborhood.
The street is now home to around 60 car parts vendors offering a wide range of products, including tires, car audio systems, and air conditioners.
Additionally, they provide comprehensive car tuning and repair services, serving as a one-stop shop for all car-related needs.
