SEOUL, June 23 (Korea Bizwire) — Kwangdong Pharmaceutical Co. said Wednesday it had hosted an e-sports education program for its employees.
The class was offered at the company headquarters for employees who have an interest in the massively popular e-sports game “League of Legends.”
The education program consisted of a theory lecture on LoL components, game play method and the difference in operation method by the designation of a champion, as well as the viewing and analysis of actual gameplay videos.
“We hope our employees address stress by playing games. We hosted this event to enhance employees’ work-life balance. We will also host practice-type lectures in the future,” the company said.
In December last year, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical signed a naming sponsorship deal to change the official name of e-sports team Afreeca Freecs to Kwangdong Freecs.
