ULSAN, Jun. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — A family of Indian spot-billed ducks that appeared at Hyundai Motor’s Ulsan factory was handed over to a wildlife rescue center after being taken care of by company employees.
According to Hyundai employees, a mother duck and her nine ducklings appeared near the main factory building around the middle of this month.

As a species native to Korea, Indian spot-billed ducks are spotted often in wooded areas in the city.
A wildlife rescue worker said that Indian spot-billed ducklings are commonly seen around this time of year as the animal’s breeding season falls between the end of May and end of June.
“Since the Taehwa River cuts through the city of Ulsan, this may be why ducks are being discovered at nearby homes and factories,” said the employee.
