SEOUL, Mar. 7 (Korea Bizwire) — The South Korean National Fire Agency said it plans to help with efforts to spray water on city streets to reduce dust that scatters when cars pass by.
When emergency measures to reduce fine dust are in effect, the agency will send fire trucks to water the roads near daycare centers, kindergartens, schools, senior centers, and populated facilities.
Vehicles used in primary firefighting operations will be excluded from the initiative. Fire trucks watering streets will be on constant look-out for any fire emergencies nearby.
