SEOUL, June 26 (Korea Bizwire) — The GV70 electrified sport utility vehicle (SUV) from Genesis, Hyundai Motor’s luxury brand, has received the highest score in a comparison conducted by Autobild, one of the top three automotive magazines in Germany.
In the recent comparison that involved three vehicles—the eGV70 model, Audi Q8 e-tron, and Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV—the eGV70 emerged as the top performer, earning an “excellent electrification system and best quality” rating, as reported by industry sources.
The evaluation encompassed seven categories: body, comfort, powertrain, driving performance, connectivity, eco-friendliness, and economy.
The eGV70 claimed first place in three of these categories: powertrain, eco-friendliness, and economy. It achieved an overall score of 603.
In the powertrain category, which is regarded as the core strength of an electric vehicle, the eGV70 received the highest score of 103 points, acknowledging its outstanding PE (power electric) system, delivering excellent driving performance and fast charging speeds.
It also achieved remarkable scores of 80 and 79 in the eco-friendliness category, which assesses environmental technologies and external noise, and the economy category, which takes into account maintenance and warranty factors.
