SEOUL, Sep. 1 (Korea Bizwire) – SK Planet’s 11th Street (www.11st.co.kr) online shopping portal announced that they will be selling a 99,000 won ‘Shocking DIY Laptop’ through their online select shop ‘Shocking Deal’.
The laptop is called the ‘CRAZY Wolf Lite Book’. It doesn’t have memory or SSD storage, so consumers can install the components of their choice on their own. The laptop has a 1080P full HD quality 14 inch screen featuring a new IPS panel that allows the user to see the screen clearly from every direction. The device also comes with an Intel Bay Trail CPU, which produces less heat and uses less electricity than other processors. It weighs 1.2 kilograms.
Kim Mi-jeong, merchandiser(MD) of 11th Street, commented on the laptop’s features. “It was a big hit as an economical laptop when we released it in July. It offers high performance for its price, if used for web surfing, watching videos, and ordinary office work.”
Officials from computer component businesses explain the pros and cons of the product. “For consumers that wish to select and install the memory and SSD they like, the product has its merits. But those who are not familiar with separate computer parts might need some help.”
