SEOUL, June 10 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co. on Tuesday released the face-lifted Nexo hydrogen-powered sport utility vehicle (SUV) in South Korea, unveiling key features and price schemes for the fully revamped model.
The upgraded hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) model boasts a futuristic design that blends urban and outdoor utility, a driving range of up to 720 kilometers on a single charge and a high-efficiency powertrain with a maximum motor output of 150 kilowatts. It also features top-tier safety and convenience technologies for its class.
Unlike the previous single-trim offering, Hyundai is now offering the new Nexo in three trims, with the price starting at 76.4 million won (US$56,400) after taking in tax incentives.
With a separate central government subsidy of 22.5 million won and additional local government subsidies ranging from 7 million to 15 million won, customers may be able to purchase the base model for as low as 38.94 million won, depending on the region, Hyundai said.
The model was first unveiled last month at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show and is the first fully redesigned version of Hyundai Motor’s hydrogen-powered SUV first introduced in 2018.
