SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Korea Bizwire) – Hyundai Motor Company announced on November 14 that it will launch “Project Hashtag 2024,” an exhibition at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) in Seoul’s Jongno district, running from December 15 through April next year.

Project Hashtag, now in its fifth year since its inception in 2019 under Hyundai’s sponsorship, serves as an open creative platform that selects two teams of cultural creators every year. The initiative extends beyond traditional visual arts, offering support to artists, curators, researchers, and other creative professionals to freely explore experimental ideas.

This year’s exhibition was highly competitive, with 148 teams submitting proposals. The two selected teams, both utilizing gaming as a medium to present fresh perspectives on contemporary society, are “Wish Office” (consisting of Kim Rae-o, Seo Yo-han, Seo Jin-gyu, Oh Sae-eul, and Choi Jun-sung) and “Playing Art Method” (comprising Jo Ho-yeon, Kim Yong-ju, and Lee Se-ok).

The exhibition will feature interactive programs including artist talks, live game streaming services, and docent programs led by poets, game researchers, and critics.
