SEOUL, May 4 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co. said Tuesday it will host the Hyundai N Festival, a racing championship for the carmaker’s high-performance brand N.
The festival will host the first round of the series at Inje Speedium in Inje, east of Seoul, from Friday to Sunday.
Seven additional races will then take place until October, in which more than 150 vehicles will compete.
The races have been held without any spectators since 2019 due to the coronavirus outbreak. For the first time in three years, the festival will be open to the public.
The Avante N Cup, a top-tier championship for professional racers driving the Avante N, has been added this year.
This year’s championship will consist of the Sprint Class including the Veloster N Cup and Avante N Line Cup, as well as the Time Trial Class including the Avante N Time Trial and the Veloster N Time Trial.
