SEOUL, Sept. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — Incheon International Airport has become the Airport Council International (ACI)’s first Level 5 customer experience accredited airport, the state-run operator of the airport said Thursday.
The Incheon International Airport Corp. was awarded the highest level of accreditation in the ACI Customer Experience program at the global summit held by the ACI at the Krakowie Aviation Museum in Poland on Wednesday (local time).
The customer experience accreditation system was introduced in 2019 by the ACI to evaluate the customer experience management system of global airports just like rating hotels with star grades.
Thus far, a total of 60 airports, including 18 in Asia-Pacific, 11 in Europe and 21 in the Americas are participating in this program and undergoing strict evaluations.
Main evaluation items include the level of customer understanding, strategy, operational improvement, indicator measurement, cooperation system and service innovation.
