SEOUL, Aug. 23 (Korea Bizwire) — KCON, the annual overseas K-pop concert series by entertainment giant CJ ENM, attracted 140,000 attendees during its three-day stint in Los Angeles.
Held from last Friday to Sunday at the LA Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena, KCON LA 2023 drew a daily crowd of at least 40,000 people, according to CJ ENM.
The total surpassed last year’s attendance by 50,000 individuals during the two-day event.
The festival garnered an online viewership of 5.9 million from 176 countries worldwide.
The stage sizzled with performances from 21 K-pop groups including IVE and Stray Kids.
