SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Korea Bizwire) Various locations appearing in Korean dramas are becoming popular travel destinations for people around the world.

The Korea Tourism Organization recently selected a number of recent K-drama locations as “recommended tourist locations for February.”

A neighborhood east of Mount Bukhan has become the site of various dramas.

The vendors and alleys in the street of Ssangmundong neighborhood in northern Seoul featured in “Reply 1988,” which aired in 2015 and 2016, and scenes from the global sensation “Squid Game” were filmed at a market nearby.

Another Netflix Korean series “Kingdom” was shot at Mungyeong Saejae, a mountain pass in North Gyeongsang Province.

“Hometown Cha-cha-cha” is the newest drama that has been attracting travelers to the southern port city of Pohang.
