SEOUL, March 14 (Korea Bizwire) — A number of popular Korean TV series including Netflix’s “The Glory” and the tvN series “Crash Course in Romance” are garnering attention for their fashion design.
Park Yeon-jin, one of the high-school bullies in “The Glory” who works as a weather reporter as an adult, made waves with a tweed jacket and a light-colored set-up suit.
Online shopping mall SSG.com reported that tweed jacket sales from February 8 to March 9 were 25 percent higher than last year.
Nam Haeng-Seon, one of the main characters in “Crash Course in Romance,” is a warm and outgoing personality wearing a flowery blouse, frill knitted shirt, and dot padded jacket.
Gmarket said that sales of lace and frill blouses, chiffon blouses and print blouses jumped by 67, 62 and 92 percent, respectively, over the same period.
SSG.com also reported a sales jump of pattern and print blouses (20 percent), blue jeans (15 percent) and lace/frill blouses (10 percent).
