SEOUL, Jan. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics has launched its latest Lifezip pop-up store, “Romantic Cabin.zip,” at the Gonjiam Resort ski area in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, the company announced on Thursday.
This initiative is part of LG’s growing home lifestyle community, Lifezip, which aims to enrich customers’ lives by sharing diverse home-based activities.
Lifezip, branded as a “community for home enthusiasts,” offers content related to cooking, gardening, art, and entertainment. It collaborates with like-minded companies such as Minumsa Publishing, Hyundai Green Food, and Shinsegae Department Store.
Since surpassing 50,000 members in January 2024, Lifezip has rapidly grown to over 390,000 members within a year.

The Romantic Cabin.zip pop-up store is designed as a cozy “cabin in the snow,” providing visitors to Gonjiam Resort with a warm and relaxing retreat during the ski season.
The store’s construction incorporates wooden pallets typically used for transporting home appliances, adding an eco-friendly touch. LG Electronics plans to recycle these pallets for future pop-up installations.
Visitors can experience a range of LG’s premium home electronics, including the portable lifestyle screen LG StanbyME, the LG XBOOM 360 wireless speaker, the ultra-compact 4K projector LG CineBeam Cube, the table-style air purifier LG PuriCare AeroFurniture, and the air-purifying fan LG AeroTower.

Since its opening on December 24, 2024, the pop-up store has attracted over 6,000 visitors. LG Electronics plans to continue operating the Romantic Cabin.zip through the end of the ski season next month.
This follows the success of Lifezip’s first pop-up store, “Lifezip Housewarming,” held in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong in July 2024, which drew more than 7,500 visitors in just 10 days.
LG’s Lifezip initiative reflects the company’s strategy to deepen customer engagement through immersive experiences that blend lifestyle and technology.
