SEOUL, Mar. 26 (Korea Bizwire) – North Korea released Sunday a synthesized video showing North Korean shooting athletes targeting American military forces, accusing the U.S. of threatening a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula.
The two-minute video, posted on North Korea’s propaganda website DPRK, starts with images of North Korean shooting athletes engaged in training. The video called them shooting players of the DRPK’s defense sports team.
DPRK is the acronym of the North’s full name, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
With a change in tone, the video said in caption that “However, our deadshots are not fired in shooting ranges or in stadiums only.” It also ran a caption calling the U.S. the “sworn enemy” of Korean people.
Then an image of American forces came in as the shooting target of the gun players, with another message that the targeting shows “the hatred and animosity toward the U.S. who is forcing the disaster of a nuclear war on our people after they inflicted the disaster of a brutal war on the Korean people in the 1950′s.”
