Photographers Flock to Okcheon Unmudae Observatory for Sunrise Views

OKCHEON, Nov. 8 (Korea Bizwire)Yongam Temple’s Unmudae Observatory, located in Okcheon County, North Chungcheong Province, is gaining popularity among photographers for its sunrise views.

Every morning, photographers from all over the country gather to take photos of the sunrise. The current season is the best time of the year to take sunrise photos.

CNN Go, an online tourism channel for CNN, designated the sea of clouds and the sunrise typical of the observatory as one of 50 beautiful places to visit in South Korea.

The county spent 500 million won (US$432,200) to build the observatory to allow tourists to enjoy the surrounding views and take beautiful photos.
