SEOUL, April 21 (Korea Bizwire) — POSCO Engineering & Construction Co., the construction arm of South Korean steelmaker POSCO, introduced Tuesday the industry’s first 3D virtual reality (VR) technology to build a virtual model house for a new apartment complex to be built in Incheon’s Songdo International City.
Unlike other preceding 3D model homes made by other companies that offered information on each room separately, POSCO E&C’s new virtual home uses VR technology to allow visitors to tour the entire home by gliding through various rooms.
From the entrance of the apartment complex to the homes themselves, visitors can move freely through all spaces.
