SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Korea Bizwire) — The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency jointly announced on Wednesday that they will unveil a string of new initiatives as part of the project to fill the area of Gwanghwamun in central Seoul with a variety of immersive content.
“Tiger,” an immersive media art displaying the power of a tiger, and “Lightning,” depicting natural phenomena such as lightning and clouds will be showcased through the Gwanghwa mural, which was established as a media canvas on the exterior wall of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History.
Also exhibited will be “Nostalgia,” which won the grand prize at a media art contest held under the theme of “mural painting.”
Gwanghwawon, located in the second hall of the Seoul Metro Art Center, will provide the chance to meet “Forest,” an artwork realizing a forest filled with the vitality of nature, and “Water Garden,” a piece expressing a garden of water.
