PYEONGCHANG, Sept. 8 (Korea Bizwire)Pyeongchang-gun announced that it will develop Jangamsan Mountain, which is famous for its paragliding site, into a tourist area to meet the needs of visitors who seek healing in nature, as well as the increased hiking population.

Jangamsan Mountain is one of the most beautiful mountains in the area, as the scenery of Pyeongchang can be seen from its peak.

Considering the ecosystem and scenery of the mountain, certain parts of the hiking routes will be developed on nature-friendly terms.

The local government will invest 200 million won into the venture, and install information boards, signposts, wooden steps and safety ropes so that hikers can enjoy the mountains in a safer and more pleasant environment.
