SEOUL, Dec. 9 (Korea Bizwire) — Cafe24, a provider of web hosting and e-commerce solutions, said Tuesday it had launched a real-time integration partnership with Facebook Shops.
Facebook Shops refers to an e-commerce service that integrates shopping malls with Facebook and Instagram.
If users click the button below production information updated by Facebook or Instagram, they are instantly connected to shopping malls.
To launch the service, Facebook Inc. announced in May its cooperation with eight global partner companies. Cafe24 was the only East Asian company to enter into a partnership with Facebook.
Cafe24 said that the partnership would make it easier to attract the 3.1 billion users of Facebook and Instagram to domestic shopping portals.
The real-time integration system that Cafe24 developed jointly with Facebook will enable merchants to manage the items displayed at Facebook Shops through an admin page.
Merchants also can set the classification standard by season, the date of release and style.
Cafe24 users can enjoy Facebook Shops for free. No commission is paid to Facebook since payment is completed at the actual shopping portal.
