SEOUL, March 3 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s top conglomerate Samsung Group will provide one of its training centers for use as a treatment center for new coronavirus patients.
Samsung said Monday it will provide its training center in Yeongdeok County for mild case patients in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province where there is currently a lack of hospital beds.
The center will offer patients with mild symptoms medical care while in quarantine.
The group previously contributed 30 billion won (US$25.1 million) in donations and goods to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association on Feb. 26 to help combat the COVID-19 outbreak.
