SEOUL, March 17 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government is launching a “Good-hearted Mask” campaign to help increase the stocks of KF80 or KF94 masks available to health care workers and other vulnerable citizens.
Individuals donating KF80 or KF94 masks will receive a “Good-hearted Mask” set consisting of cotton masks and portable hand sanitizer.
To this end, the city will invest a total of 9.7 billion won (US$7.89 million) to produce 3.2 million mask sets at a local sewing factory.
The masks donated by citizens will be delivered to medical staff, nursing hospital workers, the health vulnerable, and occupational groups that need to come into contact with many people.
The campaign runs from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at about 100 major subway stations in Seoul.
