SEOUL, March 2 (Korea Bizwire)The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Tuesday that it had set up six ‘smart poles’ throughout the city that are capable of charging electric vehicles (EVs) and drones.

The smart poles are state-of-the-art urban infrastructure that combine various functions needed to operate a city, including street lamps, traffic lights, as well as public Wi-Fi and smart CCTV cameras.

Four of the six poles, set up in a parking lot near Sinyongsan Station and a roadside parking lot in the Seongbuk-dong area, are also capable of recharging EVs.
