SIHEUNG, May 15 (Korea Bizwire) — The city of Siheung revealed plans yesterday to take on a “green curtain project” that involves planting vines on the exterior walls of buildings to lower indoor temperatures during the summer season.
The city government of Siheung is scheduled to install “green curtains” at the library, the BOB start-up center, Siheung police station and others.
In order to expand the project, the city will also accept applications from citizens to hold information sessions on how to install and manage vines. (For more info: 031-310-6213).
