SEOUL, April 6 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean pop stars from SM Entertainment held a press conference on Thursday in Dubai ahead of their live concert SM Town Live.

The press conference – part of the promos for the very first SM Town Live concert in the Arab region – garnered attention from major local media outlets including Gulf News and Khaleej Times.

Popular acts including U-Know Yunho from TVXQ, Hyoyeon, and Luna from F(x) flew all the way to the desert metropolis in their private jet, and were greeted by hundreds of local fans holding placards with Korean messages such as ‘Saranghae (I love you)’ and ‘Gomawo’ (Thank you)’.

The crowd cheered on as the K-pop stars greeted them in Arabic, with phrases including ‘As-salamu alaykum’ and ‘Shukran’.

The SM Town Live World Tower VI in Dubai concert will be held at Autism Rocks Arena on Friday at 6 p.m.
