SEOUL, Mar. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – As cherry blossom festivals bloom across South Korea, Starbucks Korea has unveiled a map highlighting 10 of its most picturesque locations for admiring the fleeting spring spectacle.
In Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, home to the country’s largest cherry blossom festival in Jinhae, the Starbucks Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station Drive-Thru offers sweeping views of the resplendent floral tunnels lining the nearby Gyeonghwa Station Cherry Blossom Road through its expansive windows.
Busan’s Samnak Stream Drive-Thru has cemented itself as a regional hot spot, situated next to Samnak Ecological Park where the city’s cherry blossom fest takes place. Visitors can soak in the stunning Nakdong River cherry blossom trail in full bloom through the cafe’s spacious glass facades.
Those venturing to the Gayasan National Park area flock to the Gongju Donghaksa Drive-Thru, conveniently located at the entrance to one of the region’s largest clustered groves of cherry blossoms in central South Korea.
In Seoul, the Yeouido Park Reserve store provides a serene urban escape near the bustling Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival along the Han River, boasting a spacious layout and soaring ceilings in the heart of the city.
Other featured locations include the Yeoju Namhan River Drive-Thru offering vistas of the Namhangang and Yeojudaegyo Bridge, and the Namwon store in North Jeolla Province situated close to Gwanghalluwon, the famed backdrop of the classic “Chunhyangjeon” folk tale.
To commemorate the cherry blossom season, 98 designated “Cherry Blossom Event Stores” will offer Cherry Cube Bread and Kouign-amann Cherry Cream Sandwiches until April 12. Starbucks has also partnered with navigation app T map to provide Americano drink vouchers.
