Ex-Prime Minister Jung Woon-chan, who was the head of the contest committee, hoped that this could be a start to create a better society. “We wanted children with cancer and their families to find hope through the contest. Just like how people can pull an airplane when they work together, we believe that the warm gestures of people can help children with cancer as well as their families.”

Park So-yoon (11), a girl who entered the contest from the Eunpyung Children’s Choir, shared her thoughts on the contest. “We could move the airplane in no time when we worked together. I hope the ill children will get better soon and play with us too.”
