The XC90 is Volvo’s first SUV model, and was launched in 2002 to target the urban SUV trend. It is touted as having overcome the shortcomings of general SUVs, which have a high risk of rolling over due to their higher frame height.

The XC90 is also mounted with Volvo’s City Safety system that is a highly advanced and high-precision emergency brake system.

When it was first released, the XC90 was applauded as the best choice for drivers looking to maximize the safety of their family when on the road.
