SEOUL, Oct. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – In celebration of its 80th anniversary of entering the Asia-Pacific region, Volvo Trucks held an event to unveil its new vehicles in South Korea. The nine new models of its commercial vehicles including dump trucks, tractors and cargo trucks were disclosed at the event.
Volvo FH series, one of its flagship products, was selected as the International Truck of the Year 2014, and won the Red Dot Design Award and the IF Design award, which are renowned global design awards.
Volvo’s design philosophy, which pursues simple and practical Scandinavian design, is praised to allow the auto manufacturer to have insight and focus on a future change. This design-centered strategies have been a driving force for the leading commercial vehicle brand to take a leading position in the market.
