SEOUL, Dec. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — WINNER recorded 100 million YouTube views with the video for “Really Really,” the four-member K-pop boy band’s first achievement of a YouTube landmark since their debut in 2014 with YG Entertainment, the management agency said Thursday.
The music video of “Really Really,” which was released in April last year, and is from their EP “Fate Number For,” surpassed the YouTube milestone at around the midnight on Wednesday, YG said.
The song, composed jointly by members Mino and Seungyoon, was the first music release after one founding member, Taehyun, left the initially five-man band.
“WINNER topped the YouTube 100 million view mark, an indicator of overseas popularity,” YG said in a press release. “(We) verified the world influence WINNER has garnered steadily.”
YG also said the band will drop new songs at the end of December.
In January, WINNER is scheduled to go on a North American concert tour, traveling to seven major cities from Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
