BUSAN, May 24 (Korea Bizwire) — Graffiti works by world-class artists will be painted at Huinnyeoul Culture Village in Busan.
As a special exhibition of Art Busan 2019, an annual international art fair, Art Show Busan announced on Thursday that it will hold a mural installation art exhibition jointly with “POW! WOW! Korea” at the cultural village called Huinnyeoul Village.
POW! WOW! is an installation work project by globally recognized mural and graffiti-based artists. This year, the project will take place in 15 locations around the world, starting with Hawaii.
In South Korea, the exhibition will be held this year at the Huinnyeoul Culture Village as part of a collaboration with Art Busan and the Yeongdo District Office.
The project will involve world-famous artists such as Belgian-born, Amsterdam-based artist Adele Renault, who is famous for painting pigeons.
The graffiti works will be drawn in three places in the village. The work will begin on May 28 and will be completed on May 30.
On May 31, an artist’s talk is scheduled at the lounge inside the exhibition hall.
