SEOUL, June 17 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics unveiled Thursday a new television called the Mosquito Away TV, targeting 1.2 billion Indian consumers. The Mosquito Away TV repels mosquitos by emitting ultrasonic waves that mosquitos are known to find intolerable.
LG took into account India’s concerns over mosquito-related diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and the Zika virus. The new product is also expected to launch in other Asian countries such as Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
