SEOUL, Dec. 4 (Korea Bizwire) — BMW Korea has announced the launch of a new subscription service for vehicle repair.
The Korean division of the German automaker announced plans to offer BMW Prime to 200 customers on a first come, first serve basis starting next Monday before the official launch later next year.
BMW Prime is available for customers whose BSI, an exchange service for expendable parts, and parts warranty program have expired, and who own BMW models produced during the past eight years. Customers can purchase the subscription service on a yearly basis.
Those purchasing the standard package will be offered free car checks over the subscription period, and a one-time free exchange of engine oil and a/c filters.
A 20 percent discount for repair costs, pick-up and delivery service, airport shuttle and car parking services will also be included.
Subscription prices differ by the car and its age. A standard package for the 5 series, for instance, will cost 390,000 won (US$357). Premium packages will cost 920,000 won per year.
