Cosmetics Companies Introduce Mask-proof Products to Win Over Consumers

SEOUL, Oct. 12 (Korea Bizwire)As protective masks have become the new social norm following the coronavirus outbreak, the cosmetics industry is introducing products that are ‘mask-friendly’.

Able C&C, the operator of South Korean budget cosmetics brand Missha, introduced the new Dare Tint Mirror Slick, a lip gloss that doesn’t smear the mask while keeping the lips colorful and expressive.

The Saem Co. also introduced True Fit Fixer Cushion, a similar mask-proof product boasting strong adhesive features that prevent make-up from rubbing onto a mask.

“More consumers are interested in mask-proof products as the pandemic drags on,” The Saem explained.

Local cosmetics manufacturer Cosmax Co. announced its new Cashmere Matte Lipstick boasting effective color adhesion.
