Daegu Hosts 10th International Body Painting Festival

DAEGU, Aug. 28 (Korea Bizwire)Nine years after its debut in 2008, Daegu, the first Asian city to host a body painting festival, welcomed 43 teams from 10 countries over the weekend to the Kolon Outdoor Music Hall.

Attendees were treated to showcases of the many different artists present. Besides the main attraction, there were also fireworks, musical performances by Korean artists and graffiti art on display.

The event closed with the 2017 DIBF Awards Ceremony, which decided winners for the DIBF Bodypainting Awards, DIBF Fantasy Make-Up Awards and DIBF Photogenic Model Awards.

The awards ceremony was broadcast on local TV on Sunday afternoon.
