SEOUL, Oct. 4 (Korea Bizwire) — Department stores and shopping malls are targeting so-called ‘pet-fams’ or family consumers with pets to attract more customers in the pandemic era.
Cocco Square, a lifestyle shop for pets, opened at Lotte Premium Outlet Time Villas in in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province on Sept. 10, taking up four floors.
Cocco Square consists of pet restaurants, hotels, kindergartens, a spa, an outdoor park, and education facilities, set up over 1,270 square meters.
The Dongtan outlet of Lotte Department Store in Hwaseong, south of Seoul which opened in August, also introduced pet restaurants, salons and outdoor playgrounds.
Hyundai Premium Outlet SPACE ONE in the coastal city of Gimpo opened up Heendy House, a pet playground, in a 1,320 square-meter space on the roof.
