SEOUL, June 12 (Korea Bizwire)Hyundai Motor Co. has announced that a range of its mobility solutions will feature in Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” which is set to premiere in the domestic market next week.

The upcoming animated film marks the third collaboration between the carmaker and Sony Pictures Entertainment, following their strategic partnership formed in 2020.

In the 2021 release of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Hyundai showcased the all-electric IONIQ 5 SUV and Tucson SUV.

Additionally, the Tucson Beast, an off-road concept based on the Tucson, made an appearance in the American action-adventure film “Uncharted,” released last year.

Hyundai collaborated with Sony Pictures animators to bring the futuristic city and mobility of the year 2099 to life in the movie.

Through a combination of design imagination and advanced technologies, they successfully created a captivating vision.

To coincide with the movie’s release, Hyundai plans to hold a Spider-Man-themed exhibition and related events at the Hyundai Motor Studio in Goyang, located northwest of Seoul.

The exhibition will run from this month until the end of August.

Notable installations include an all-electric IONIQ 6 sedan suspended in Spider-Man’s web and a portal to the multiverse, a multi-dimensional universal space depicted in the film.

Meahwhile, Hyundai has also launched an animated advertisement featuring Spider-Man, who follows the music emanating from the IONIQ 6.
