SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Group said Sunday that the video it produced to help the treatment of abused children surpassed the 20 million mark in YouTube views.
Starting in 2015, the South Korean carmaker has carried out a video campaign called “Heals on Wheels” that highlights the valuable social application of mobility solutions.
The sixth video of the campaign, released on Jan. 13, shows on-site consultations with abused children and the development of mobility solutions that can help with the rehabilitation of their everyday life.
In addition to YouTube, the new video also recorded 6.26 million views on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram combined.
In particular, the video drew stronger attention from those between 25-44 years of age, who are parents with children whose age is similar to that of the children appearing in the video.
As part of the “I Care Car” campaign that it started in 2014, Hyundai has donated a total of 142 vehicles to 66 childcare centers across the country, with the value of its donation estimated at about 3.5 billion won (US$2.84 million).
