while a few best-selling drinks accounted for half of the total sales among the older generation, the MZ generation has different tastes and prefers a variety of products. This is why jelly and granular hangover relievers have been selling evenly well among this group. (Image courtesy of GS25)
SEOUL, April 15 (Korea Bizwire) — Sales of hangover relievers have increased due to an increase in drinking parties as COVID-19 becomes endemic. Pills, sticks, and jelly products have become popular among the MZ generation as they are simpler and more delicious than the drink formulation.
Sales of drinks increased by 61.6% year-on-year, but jelly and granular type products increased by 98%. GS25, which conducted the survey on this trend, is expanding its jelly and granular products and now sells more pills and jelly products than drinks. The MZ generation prefers different products for each taste, so jelly and granular products are sold evenly.
